Not me, I'm perfectly healthy, my laptop (Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pi1536) however survived a Vanilla-Coke-Shower yesterday evening. I spilled almost half a bottle over the right side of my Laptop. Looked like a real mess, coke was pouring out of my PCMCIA-Slot and the corner of the case. :-/
However, after about 20 hours of drying it still seems to work quite well. All of my connectors at the right side of it are still working, but my keys are a bit gluey, especially enter and backspace :-/
Does anyone know by any chance how to clean the keyboard to get rid of all that glue without dismantling the laptop? (because I don't know how to dismantle it, tried it yesterday evening but without any luck...)
Any help will be appreciated :-)

You are crazy using it without opening it and cleaning it.
The coke could have gone to places you won't even imagine.
Happened to me once and I had to disassembly the laptop and get the last drop of coke out of it, it wouldn't even start if I didn't.
Never got the keyboard un-sticky though. I guess using alcohol could work?
But by any means, disassembly it or you will kill it.
Hello,
as said earlier, I had it drying for over 20h and it's working perfectly fine except for the sticky keyboard, but I guess I'll have to disassemble it anyways to get it properly clean....
You can now spill some water on that corner to wash the Coke away. Not sure if that's a good idea though.
I would try cleaning it with Turpentine (as pablo said - some alcohol). I once had my keyboard all sticky and gluey and I cleaned it up with Turpentine, which is a mild melter that melts down the gluey things, but does not melt the plastic.
Just don't spill it over the laptop, unless you fist check if it wont hurt the metals inside.
Itai.
My kids spilt coke on my desktop keyboard at home and rendered it completely unusable!
Now it is working as good as new.
All you need is some warm water and a small amount of 'washing up' liquid.
I took my keyboard apart and soaked the keys in a small tub of warm water (add a little 'washing-up' liquid) and then rinsed it, dried it with my wife's hairdryer and put it back to together - thats it!
You will need warm water to melt the residue sugar left behind from the coke spill.
I have used this procedure with another old keyboard and it now works perfectly.
You shouldnt really use anything like turpentine or alcohol - it may damage electrical components not to mention the smell! Only use it as a last result.
Good Luck!
